'To the memory of Captain William HUDDART, Commander of the 'York' East Indiaman, who after a long and painful illness which he bore with the utmost fortitude, departed this life in Macao Roads on his passage to England, March 29th 1787. Aged 24 years'

Notes: The Old Protestant Cemetery opened in 1821 and was closed in 1858. Earlier graves were moved to the cemetery from other locations. The cemetery is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
