Description: Three corner gargoyles missing. Elaborate and fanciful Portland Stone canopied tomb with sarcophagus decorated with naval icons as inlay in artificial stone. The sarcophagus is supported by green Cornish Serpentine colonettes with the canopy supported by polished pink Peterhead Granite columns. The monument was designed by William Burges (1827-1881) and is Grade II listed. It is located on the South side of South Branch Avenue.
