'In loving memory of / Florence Singleton / the dearly beloved daughter of / David and Frances James / who died Aug 21st 1908 / in her 19th year / Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God / Also of their beloved sons / Sydney Butler James / who lost his life by enemy action on SS Rosario / Aug 18th 1917 aged 29 /And David Robert, eldest son / who fell asleep June 28th 1924, aged 41 / Also of their beloved parents David and Frances Jane James.'
