'Underneath are deposited the remains / of Charles Harvey Norrington / Lieutenant RN / who died March 7th 1839 aged 48 years / These things / I have spoken unto you / that in me ye might have peace / in the world ye shall have tribulation / but be of good cheer I have overcome the world / John 16 v 33' [On wall of church] 'Inscribed by his widow to the memory of Charles Harvey Norrington Lieutenant Royal Navy Obit 1839 / Blessed are they that do hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled. Matt 5 Ch 6 v'
