'Erected by ISABEL SWANKIE in memory of her husband JAMES SPINK, fisherman who died 19th July 1848 aged 47 years of JAMES, their son who died 16 April 1837 aged 6 years of PETER their son who died 30th Novr 1837 aged 11 months. The above ISOBEL SWANKIE died 6th July 1865 in the 64th year of her age. Revised by WILLIAM SPINK and his wife MARY ANN CARGILL in memory of their family, PETER died 1st Oct 1853 aged 1 year WILLIAM died 4th Sept 1863 aged 2 years ISABELLA died 24 Sept 1876 aged 29 years'
