[Not exact] ‘Thomas NEWMAN WARD Esq. formerly Thomas Newman Collins of Field Green in this parish died at Ore, Sussex on 25th December 1851, age 62, his wife Charlotte died at Broadstairs, Kent in March 1868 and is buried beneath this tomb. Also of Douglas, 2nd son of Newman Ward Esq. Barr. At Law died 23rd August 1858 aged 9, buried in the vault beneath. Also of Leonard, 3rd son of Newman and Louisa Jane Ward, drowned off the Smalls in Bristol by the sinking of the SS Dante through collision 30th December 1878 aged 21. Also of Newman WARD Esq. barrister at Law only son of Thomas and Charlotte Ward died 27th March 1898 aged 75, buried in Torquay, Cornwall. His wife Louisa Jane died in London 3rd August 1864 aged 38 and is buried in Willesden Cemetery’
