Notes: DOSSIER. Captain Bruce was feeling unwell when coastguard vessel 'Galatea' left Hull to join the fleet assembled in the Solent during the transportation of the Queen's body from the Isle of Wight to Portsmouth. When 'Galatea' arrived there, Bruce was immediately hospitalised and died at Haslar of pneumonia.
