'In loving memory of / Eliza / dearly loved wife of / William Selway, late of Bristol / and Cardiff, pilot, died at Grangetown / Sept 26th 1897, aged 69 years / Why should we grieve now she is gone / from sickness and from pain / Rather rejoice because our loss / Is her eternal gain / Also the above / William Selway / who died suddenly Nov 1st 1902 / aged 76 years / Forever with the Lord / Also of Frank Selway the dearly / loved eldest son of J.C.& S. Lawson / and grandson of the above / who died Dec 16th 1910 / aged 24 years / Until the day breaks and the shadows / flee away.'
