'John Maitland Forster son of Major-General Bowes Forster and grandson of General Sir Peregrine Maitland who fell in action on board H.M. ship Bellerophon, 84 guns on 17th October 1854, during an attack of the combined fleets of England and France against Sebastopol. Universally beloved and lamented by all who knew him age 16 years'
