'The Belfry Clock was installed in 1964 in memory of George William Proudfoot Master Mariner / Died 10 March 1926 aged 46 years. Also Sub-Lieut. Harry Proudfoot RNR for many years a chorister in this church, who died on Active Service, when HMS Princess Victoria was lost 10 May 1940'
