'Sacred to the memory of Ambrose Lennon and Margaret his wife the former having foundered in a hurricane in the West Indies on board his Majesty's ship 'Barbados' with all the crew in the year 1780. The latter died March 5 1804 Age 71 years. This stone erected by their son Capt John Lennon'

Notes: The Parish church (Church of Ireland) was built in 1788 on the site of an earlier monastery and rebuilt in 1933 in the Celtic style. However the oldest stone in the graveyard dates from 1716.
