'Sacred to the Memory / of JOHN RICE Esqr. / who departed this Life July 31st 1801: aged 49 / leaving a large Family / to lament the loss of a kind Parent / a faithful Friend, and Able Advisor. / Also the the Memory / of CHARLES RICE Esqr. / Lieutenant in the Royal Navy; / who died February 26th 1802; aged 23 / He was/a young Man of a most amiable Disposition, / and his Loss is severely felt / by all who had the Knowledge / of his excellent Qualities.'
