'Sacred to the memory of JOSEPH LAWERENCE [sic], Ordinary Seaman on board the British Barque 'ANAZI', through an accident of falling into the forehold on the 24th July 1875, fractured his spine and died from the effects at the hospital on July 29th 1875.
