Transcript

'James SHAW late of Arrad departed this life June 1 1808 aged 25 years. Also John Shaw mariner died in Island of Granada June 17th 1808 aged 25 years. Richard and Eleanor Shaw their disconsolate parents caused this monument to be erected to their memory. Richard Shaw father of the above, died Dec. 4 1815 aged 65 years. Eleanor his wife died March 16 1815 aged 58 years.'
