'SACRED TO THE MEMORY / OF / EDWARD RUSHWORTH. Esqr. / late of Farringford Hill, / formerly M.P. and Recorder of Newport / and thirty six Years a Magistrate for this County / who departed this Life Octr. 15th. 1817, / Aged 62 / ALSO Sacred to the Memory of / The Honble CATHERINE RUSHWORTH. / Relict of the above Edward Rushworth, Esqr. / and youngest Daughter / of the late Leonard Lord Holmes, / who departed this Life Decr. 9th, 1829. / Aged 64. / Also Sacred to the Memory of their Children / CATHERINE HOLMES, and LEONARD / who died in their Infancy. / Their several Remains are deposited in the Family Vault / beneath the Communion Table. / ALSO Sacred to the Memory of their Second Son / EDWARD RUSHWORTH Esqr. / Captain in the ROYAL NAVY, / who fell a Victim to the Climate of the West Indies / when in Command of his Majesty's Ship / Barbadoes. / His Remains were interred with Military Honors / at Port Royal Jamaica, / who departed this Life June 19th. 1812. / Aged 25 / ALSO Sacred to the Memory / of HENRY RUSHWORTH Esqr. / their Fifth Son / who when Lieutenant of his Majesty's Ship / Liverpool. / Closed a short and honourable Life at Trincomale / in the Island of Ceylon / where he was also buried with Military Honors, / who departed this Life July 18th. 1819. / aged 21'
