Notes: Wife of B. R. Abbe M.D. Buried in Hong Kong with another memorial at Fairhaven, Bristol County, Massachusetts, USA. 'Hotspur' was wrecked on the Paracels Reef, on a voyage from Foo Chow to New York. The crew escaped in three boats and survived with the exception of Elizabeth Abbe.
