JOHN ROGERS, late of Wyats. / Departed this life April the 25th / 1772, Aged 21 Years. / Safe in the Haven now my Vessel lies, / The Pilot's wafted to his native Skies: / Through Life's rough Ocean I in safety past, / and Hope's firm Anchor in my Sav'or cast / Also to the Memory of / JOHN BANKS, Senr., who / Departed this life April the / 13th 1785, in the 66th / Year of his age. / Also to the Memory of / ANN, Wife of JOHN BANKS who / died July the 5th 1790 / Aged 72 Years'

Description: The inscription tablet with a mounded cornice and gadrooned apron. It is flanked by draperies with gilded fringes. On the end of the cornice, a flaming lamp and above it, a black stele bearing a cartouche with a foul anchor and with two festoons of husks.
