Notes: Hobson buried 15th October 1880 at Pitminster. East window the gift of Mrs Hobson and her family June 1881. Replaced in 1989 with a more modern design entitled 'I WILL MAKE YOU FISHERS OF MEN'. Hobson was second-in-command to McClintock during his 1857 Arctic expedition and discovered the document revealing the fate of the Sir John Franklin's missing ships.
