'Philipps Baggott Whinfield, eldest son of the Revd William Whinfield, Vicar of this Parish. At the age of ...years, 11 of which he served as Lieutenant in His Majesty's Navy, he died on the 19th of January 1820. Also Horatio Brabayon, fifth son of the Revd William Whinfield who, while pursuing the career of Naval Service and aspiring to its Honours, was translated thence to a brighter sphere of action & reward on the 6th day of October 1820 in the 22nd year of his age. Arrived at the Haven of Everlasting Rest, no longer buffetted by winds and waves & stormy seas, they departed this life with pious resignation & holy faith in the Redeemer...'
