'To the memory of WILLIAM LOVE, late Chief Engineer of the S.S. ARRATOON APCAR, who died at Hong Kong on the 26th. March 1872. Aged... years. This stone is erected by a few of the Officers and Engineers in Messrs. Apcar & Co's employ by whom he was much esteemed and his loss deeply regretted'
