In loving remembrance of Elizabeth Symes, the beloved wife of Henry Case, both natives of Dorset who died July 9th 1853 aged 29 years. A loving wife, a friend sincere, a tender mother layeth here. Also in memory of John Joseph Case second son of the above who went down with all hands on board the Calipp tea clipper bound for China in August 1871 aged 22 years 6 months "And the sea shall give up her dead''
