Tablet flanked by female figures holding respectively a cross and anchor (Faith and Hope), coat of arms above. An action between two warships is shown on the apron.
Wall tablet at St Ann’s Church, Portsmouth Dockyard, dedicated to Rear-Admiral Sir Michael Seymour d. 1834
At the top of the memorial, a trophy consisting of a crown on the staff of a trident, flanked by flags, with navigational instruments, a rudder and gun barrels. The inscription tablet below, has a scroll on either side enclosing carved oak leaves. On the apron, the Seymour arms and crossed palm branches. The brackets are carved with acanthus leaves.
