In relief above the inscription tablet, a mourning female with a wrecked ship to the right and a broken anchor on the left.
A cross on top of a large rock on which are carved, lifejackets, coiled rope, a lifebuoy and blocks. Seven individual marble crosses have leaded inscriptions to the casualties.
